When: Saturday, August 15, 2026. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Workshop participants will enjoy a quick behind-the-scenes tour of the Tileworks and receive detailed instruction on the bulb-glazing process. We’ll provide you with a piece of bisque (un-glazed tile), bulbs filled with our rich glaze colors, and a suggested glazing guide. Follow our recommendations or unleash your creativity and glaze away!
During the Saturday, August 15 workshop, glazers will work with two of our 4x4 Round Flowers and 4x4 Square Flowers tiles (now retired designs) in a striking custom colorways. Glazers will complete one 4x4 Round Flowers tile and one 4x4 Square Flowers tile.
- After checkout you will receive an order confirmation email. This is your ticket.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, we require 7 days’ notice to refund your ticket cost.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and sorry, no children under 12.
- Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy. We will provide aprons, tools, supplies and a bottle of water for each participant. No outside food or beverage is allowed.
- This is highly detailed work, if you need reading glasses, you'll want to have them!
- After glazing, your tile will be fired in the kiln and your masterpiece will be available for pick-up. We will e-mail you upon completion.
- If you would like your finished tile shipped, we will process payment the day of the workshop and ship it out to you when it is ready!

Tiles are 5/8" thick and have a notch at the back for hanging.

Easel Info
Easels are an elegant option for art tile display. Fabricated from powder-coated steel, our easels are locally made and feature durable single-piece construction.
- Medium easel: holds any unframed tile larger than 3 inches (recommended for most of our tiles if unframed).
- Large easel: holds any framed tile or any unframed tile larger than 4 inches.
- Small easel: holds 3 and 4-inch tiles (unframed).
Frame Info
Our quarter-sawn oak frames, handmade by Dard Hunter Studios, are available with a natural Oak or Ebony finish. They can hang horizontally or vertically, or perch on our large easels. Frame features include mitered corners and stapled joints.
- Frame width is 2".
- Any framed tile can pair with our large easel.
- Note: Frame woodgrain and stain opacity varies.
