4x4 Animal Framed Tile Set (Light Blue)

It all started with a Dragonfly tile. We loved it so much that other small insects and animals were added to the line, including this Frog, Dragonfly and Bee, which make a perfect trio. Our tile frames are made by Dard Hunter Studios, founded by early Roycrofter Dard Hunter and run by his grandson, Dard Hunter III.

This framed tile set includes:

Motawi polychrome tiles are striking individual art pieces as much as functional tile installation accents. We’re told that our tiles will give you serious cred in gift-giving circles. And each one is made by hand and with heart in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

We embrace variation and handmade beauty. The bold heft of each Motawi tile reveals serious craftsmanship. And our time-honored hand-glazing methods produce a nuanced range of color with depth and translucence.

Our quarter-sawn oak frames, handmade by Dard Hunter Studios, are available with a natural Oak or Ebony finish. They can hang horizontally or vertically, or perch on our large easels. Frame features include mitered corners and stapled joints.

  • This frame’s outer dimensions are 7-1/2" x 16-1/2".
  • Frame width is 2".
  • Any framed tile can pair with our large easel.
  • Note: Frame woodgrain and stain opacity varies.
