A Mother's Day Special! 🌸

This workshop will be held at the Gutman Gallery (not at the Motawi studio).

Participants will receive detailed instruction on the bulb-glazing process. We’ll provide you with a piece of bisque (un-glazed tile), bulbs filled with our rich glaze colors, and a suggested glazing guide. Follow our recommendations or unleash your creativity and glaze away!

During the Saturday, May 7 Choose Your Bloom workshop, glazers will work with our 4x8 Peony tile in a variety of glaze colors to create custom colorways. Glazers will complete one 4x8 Peony tile.

This special edition Glaze-a-Tile workshop is made possible in collaboration with the Gutman Gallery, a vibrant art space in downtown Ann Arbor. Since its establishment in 2020, the Gutman Gallery has provided a wide range of opportunities for artists and community-focused arts programming, from exhibitions and gallery shop events to workshops and public life-drawing sessions.

Parking Tips for the Gutman Gallery:
There are parking structures at Ann & Ashley and 4th & Washington, both within a block of the gallery.
