Our Pine Landscape series is adapted from Grueby Faience designer Addison LeBoutillier's tile "Pines." The Pine Landscape tiles were our first attempt at polychrome work and is recognized as a Motawi signature series.
This mural was first produced in 1997 for the Washington Square Public Library in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It has proven so popular that it has become part of our regular made-to-order production line.
This mural is framed in a custom quartersawn oak frame that fits like a glove. Our frames are made by Dard Hunter Studios, whose process creates the patina of a well-seasoned family heirloom that will withstand sunlight and wear.
A note about frames: The quartersawn oak varies in wood grain and stain opacity. We consider this a part of their handmade beauty.
The full mural consists of thirty-five 6x6 pieces and can be customized.
Price: Framed, full mural $3,900.
