‘March Balloons’ (Liberty Magazine Cover)
These tiles are adapted from a presentation drawing which Mr. Wright submitted
to Liberty magazine as one of twelve cover designs in 1927. Although not
published at the time, Mr. Wright later modified it for use as a carpet
design. Today, it is considered to be the most popular of all the Liberty covers and an outstanding example of asymmetrical composition.
