4x8 Martin House

  • Believing the architect should create total environments, Frank Lloyd Wright's designs included art glass windows, furniture, and lighting. The Darwin D. Martin House was designed and built from 1903 to 1905 in the historic Parkside neighborhood of Buffalo, New York. This tile is adapted from the art glass skylight located in the Martin House Bursar's Office. The art glass of this house ranks among Wright's finest.
