Something about Yoshiko Yamamoto's art makes your eyes open a little wider and your mind feel a little calmer. She says that her artistic goal is "always to fuse Japanese design sensibility with fine craftsmanship." We are drawn to bold, delicate, and elegant simplicity with which she captures her subjects on paper. Her design aesthetic is complementary to our own, and we are delighted to be working with her to create this new art tile collection.

The Japanese Lantern is a 2008 addition to our tile collection.
