In 1923, Frank Lloyd Wright pioneered a unique method of building construction— the Textile Block System—in which concrete blocks were molded in unique designs, then joined with steel reinforcing rods to form elegant interior and exterior walls. Motawi Tileworks has adapted these timeless designs into relief tile. Each tile design varies slightly with size. The smaller tiles are simplified slightly; they are hand dipped in warm fluid glazes, 5002 Forest and 5184 Dark Brown, and are all available in 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 sizes.
